    Ordering a birthday gift. Games workshop's system is kinda ... passive aggressive.

    Everyone else says "Your order has been received." Games workshop?
    We have your order details. like they've kidnapped my child or something. why do you make it sound so sinister?

      @NullNowhere As a gaming business, I've always ranked GW among the top for evilness, so this tracks. 😁

        @croyle@wandering.shop Indeed. I have a lot of memories with some of the properties, but I don't buy Warhammer figures largely because of this.

        But someone I know who has only ever really done painting for fun was given a bunch of figures for a particular army that they want to play, so I got them something for that.
