I added all the tones together, which I imagine means I get to speedrun enlightenment or something

And here's all the frequencies through the same drive effect, for that lovely intermodulation distortion:

@reillypascal oooh, that looks like a fun read.

The last time I heard about the whole 432Hz thing, I was reminded of a seminar in uni where our prof had us read Plato in the first session.

The topic of the seminar was something like "the ethos of music" and the very old assumption that music has some immediate impact on your ethical/spiritual wellbeing.

@reillypascal ... and I've repeatedly come across it, e.g. in baroque music theory.

That thinking apparently keeps cropping up all the time. I've been tempted to make music with it just for shits & giggles.

@draco I do think it would be fun to use this arbitrary list of pitches as source material for scales, sonorities, or something in a piece! Idk if I'll ever get around to it, but I do like the sound.

@ho ope, I think I mixed up RationalWiki with LessWrong, which would be very cursed place to be listed. Still an extreme kook, but not the website I was thinking of.
