@laidbackdm Discovery is my favourite of all the Treks. Like the original series, it imagines a time so far in the future that we can't relate, hence is true speculative fiction. All the other series use technology that we basically have laying around today (apart from the spaceships and transporters).

Plus the Discovery acting is incredible.
