@fireweed this is less about X and more about the fact that corporate media has become extremely safe and lazy, probably for the purpose of cost cutting.

They just reprint whatever the police or someone important said. Like damn, no wonder, you’d be losing your jobs even if subs hasn’t tanked anyways because they just don’t need that many people to wait for and transcribe White House press conferences.

It’s only about X in the sense that consumers can’t distinguish amateur journalism from professional journalism when you operate like this, so of course people are happy to read some jackass take on X.
