Like any fantasy #TTRPG enthusiast, I've read so. many. books. about castles.

But it's a delight to be reunited with my old copy of The Castle Story, by Sheila Sancha, who combined her abilities as a writer, historian, photographer and Illustrator in a really unique stew to make this extremely readable, browsable, entertaining one.

Most #medieval books are not this cool; most don't need to be, but I'm still glad this one is (her other books are wonderful too).
