ghehe! Installed 22.04 on my previous work laptop that the company didn’t want back apparently, I tried 3 times..
It’s now running a small in-home glitch-soc Mastodon instance over the same network that previously owned that laptop
Snatched up Europe.social for a few bucks since it was still available lol!
4CPU, 8GB Mem & 300GB external storage so not a lot but also practically free to run

@stux some ppl think mstdn.social and mastodon.social are just aliases... or at least a couple of people did about six years ago. idk about lately

@nf3xn But switching domains for an already running instance is almost impossible
I do have signups open on it so we'll see if people want it!
