@juergen_hubert I don't know these books, but it looks like you made a great choice! Especially because most people (Italians too) think that the Resistance in Italy started sometime in 1944, it's important to remember that there was opposition to the regime from the first day.

I give Italian antifascist forces a lot of props for actually executing Mussolini. In contrast, Hitler had to shoot himself.
