@NullNowhere the whole post is structured like a thesis statement they're going to argue against. they've already got their conclusion paragraph written, they just need someone to supply the counterargument so they can knock it down

@Taweret@timeloop.cafe yep, exactly. The speaker has already stated that their goal isn’t to really listen, it’s to strengthen their personal faith. They’re not interested in being convinced.
The whole “I allow you to challenge me, plebs” attitude is also pretty arrogant and entitled. Also someone who seeks both objective truth and faith in the same action is at something of a cross purpose, I feel, and maybe being a little rude to a god who tells you “faith alone” or “faith that works” depending on your exact cant.
