Hide Boosts
Have a person you like to follow, but they boost a ton of stuff you don't like? Click their profile, go into their menu (like where you would block them) and there's a hide Boosts button.
It's legit made it possible for me to not unfollow people entirely when they boost too much irritating or triggering or whatever content.
@JessTheUnstill Amazing feature to be honest, especially when things you don’t want in your feed right now keep slipping through filters.

@LightTheUnicorn One is when people boost stuff in languages I don't speak, but somehow it's not filtered by the "only show me English" setting. (Maybe the poster mis-tagged it). I mean, if I don't speak German, it's kinda a pointless thing to have on my feed.

@JessTheUnstill there are a remarkable number of people on here whose feed is ENTIRELY boosts.
100.00000%
They never post their own words, ever.
They get blocked outright. They're like that mom or aunt who sends you clippings in the paper mail out of a paper newspaper they "thought you might find interesting."

@JessTheUnstill It's saved me from streams of posts with 3rd-rate art.

@JessTheUnstill
I use it a lot for people who boost every single sub toot on a 36 post thread. I really don't like having my entire feed dominated by what someone else finds more important than anything else I might want to read. -

@JessTheUnstill This is such a killer feature. I use it a *lot*.

@JessTheUnstill This feature is particularly helpful when people keep boosting stuff without content warnings on it.
With recent events this has become a much bigger issue and I have used it multiple times.

I try not to boost too many times per day, for that reason (too many boosts from one person get to be annoying). Which is kind of why I'm more likely to follow people who favorite my posts than those who boost them. Even though I appreciate the boosts. A contribution to the conversation can be good at leading people to the original post without annoying the people who have already seen the same post reboosted 10 times. @JessTheUnstill -

@JessTheUnstill I admit, I did boost this.
