With this, I mean processions of spirits that roam the land at night. So far, I have found the "Night Parade" from #Japan and the "Nightmarchers" from #Hawaii , but I am curious how many others are out there.

But there are also the menehune, spirits similar to Ireland's leprechauns, who only work at night. There are lesser familial gods who take the form of pueo owls to visit at night, and Madame Pele may appear at any time, day or night, to test those who come across her.

Sounds a bit like the German Perchta, who visits homes in order to check on the flax-spinning diligence of the inhabitants.
