@tabletopgamingdeals Hopefully the authors do not have a foreword expressing concern about current events, or DriveThruRPG will ban the book.

@dawngreeter @tabletopgamingdeals they won't need to, 3 out of 4 parts of the resistance would be Pro-Trump, actually...

@Era @tabletopgamingdeals I have not read the book and don't know much about it at all. But my general understanding is that rebellion is made up of factions that are intended to show the messy nature of uprisings and that players are not expected to be part of those factions but have uneasy feelings about them.
I could be wrong.

@dawngreeter @tabletopgamingdeals yup, that's the idea, but the problem is that the faction are: RW Libertarian red neck, Christo-fascist, VC bourgeois and Marxist Leninist partially paid by the 80s USSR.
I wouldn't touch that with a stick from orbit.
The left has enough drama to fill that idea without the need of all that.
The writer says it's inspired from some kind of anarchist positioning that I can't really see in the.more important part of the game -

The writer says it's inspired from some kind of anarchist positioning that I can't really see in the.more important part of the game@Era @tabletopgamingdeals It is surely an odd decision. I can see it as part of a realistic anti-fascist revolution scenario, where you have undesirable bedfellows as an anarchist. But this is a bit of a power fantasy. The vibe I got was cool and righteous shenanigans. The two don't seem to mesh?
I'd have to read it, but I can only buy it on DriveThruRPG, and I don't want to support them after Rebel Scum banning. So I guess I am sitting this one out.
