My players killed a BBEG, who was a worm that walks. When reduced to 0 hp, the worms scatter and you're supposed to do an AoE attack to kill them and prevent the bbeg from reforming.
They had an alchemist with fire bombs but the druid opted to turn into an anteater instead and eat the BBEG lol

Reminds me of a storyline in Guild Wars 2 (spoilers ahead):
::: spoiler HUGE Guild Wars 2 living world season 4 (?) spoiler One major antagonist named Joko is a lich, meaning he is kinda unkillable. During the story he is eaten by a major character, a dragon named Aurene. This ensures that he is truly dead. Earlier in the story he already died once and resurrected.
Later on Aurene even resurrects using his power because she ate him. :::
