I wonder what this means for the $100 GTA6 rumors. Nintendo seems to be getting away with the $80 price but MS and EA both backing down is a good sign.

      Their games arenโ€™t worth pirating.

It means if GTA6 launches with a $100 price tag and still sells boat loads, everyone else saying they arenโ€™t even going to $80 will suddenly suffer amnesia.

I stopped for years so imagine my surprise when I was seeing their games for free/extremely discounted (like $2-4) on Steam.

          Still didnโ€™t buy them.

          Also Ubisoft.

yup. I refuse to buy games 95% off in the $5 bin. I instantly assume the game is made by some garbage trash company that doesnโ€™t care. Iโ€™d rather pay $30 knowing the developer isnโ€™t shit

I legitimately donโ€™t understand why people pay these prices. If no one buys, prices drop. Impatient rich people poisoning the well

I waited 5 years for cyberpunk to go on sale for a low enough price before I bought it, I would probably do the same with gta6. If itโ€™s priced too high. I will just wait a few years until it isnโ€™t.

Weโ€™ll be waiting a year just for the PC release. I honestly donโ€™t mind. Playing a fully patched game is generally worth waiting for as well.

People are voting with their wallets, and so far theyโ€™re ok with paying $80 for a game.
