It occurred to me last week that the media is really blind to the fact that GenZ + are not just instagram people, but discord people. 4chan is old news in this space; instead the origin story of almost every instance of these nihilistic meme shooters is in a discord room, meming away.

I’ve said this before, but to many people’s discord is becoming the internet. It’s definitely becoming the engine of right-wing germination.
