Fishman stories were surprisingly common back in the old days of weird tales. Like The Harbor Master by Robert W. Chambers. Alot of them also had a gillman lusting after human women. Or atleast stalking them.
Except HP Lovecraft's Shadow Over Innsmouth. His Deep Ones were only interested in the men of the town. *nudge* *wink*
