@fireweed@urusai.social Jeeze I hadn’t even realized they were that much now since it’s been so long. You can’t burn it, that’s a significant chunk of a retirement fund.

@NullNowhere I stopped collecting jerseys. Even the soccer ones which used to be reasonably priced have gone up so they are close to $160 a jersey. They change every year so I can either wait till the end of season to get them at a reasonable price.....or I stop buying them.

I chose the right option@fireweed@urusai.social I don’t really understand how you’re supposed to be a sports fan anymore. It’s too expensive to go to the games and too expensive to own a lot of merch. The best you can hope for a watch group at the local bar. Good fucking luck if you don’t live in your team’s range (personal pain).
