I really don't want to do this again. I'm having major anxiety over it, and so is my wife. But I'm going to have to start beg-posting again while I continue to look for a job. What I'm good at: advanced algorithms, algorithm design, creative technical problem solving, math, R&D, novel or highly cognitively challenging domains, cross-domain projects, detail work, big picture, technical leadership
What I'm not so good at: non-technical leadership, time management, time pressure, administrative tasks, rote processes, detail work sans any creative element or deep thinking
I'm neurodivergent and won't fit well in many roles tailored towards "ordinary", but I will absolutely *thrive and excel* in many roles that most people would find daunting. Cognitively, I'm a heavy lifter: I love exercising my brain to the limit, and get I bored if I can't.
