      @stux Oh no… It actually went much deeper. I had an Amiga 600 and it wasn’t just „making sound”. You could tell the game is loading OK by the sound made by the floppy disk drive…😅

        @stux I couldn't hear the drives... above my Delta Screamer fan on my half kilo of copper cored, lapped Alpha heatsink, pushing my processor to a 50% overclock.

        And it was louder in the summer because I had to run with the side off to improve airflow.

          @stux that’s the downside of my fanless laptop with no moving parts. There are times I have no way of quickly telling if it’s doing anything. Whereas my old machine… you knew from three blocks away when I was compiling something.

            @stux As long as the sound keeps changing. If it got stuck on the exact same noise, that wasn't a good thing either.. But as long as it wasn't silent, you might still just leave it for the night..
