      @NullNowhere The box set for the TV series "Monk" famously didn't match at all, as a joke that it would bother the main character, Adrian Monk, who has a fictionalized version of OCD

        @babble_endanger@freeradical.zone ironically there is probably something similar going on here. The main character of this manga, Mira, has a disease that causes her to “call the night” whenever she gets stressed/anxious. It manifests as darkness boiling out of her.

        I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that by the end of the last volume, there is some resolution.

        I still dislike it though.
