    One of the things that I am looking forward to once most of my translations of German folk tales are on the wiki is that it will be a _lot_ easier to write blog posts on German #folklore topics without having to quote entire stories. Whether the topic is on specific supernatural creatures, "dungeons" fit for #dnd , fantastic phenomena, and so forth - as long as I have some tales on the wiki to support the central thesis, I am good to go.

    What topics from German folklore do _you_ think I should elaborate on in blog posts?

        @nicolai

        Good choice! The many faces of the Devil are an obvious candidate, but the assorted things that result in divine punishment are worth looking at, too.

            Oh, there's that too - I actually wrote two blog entries about #antisemitism in German folklore, and I plan to do more.

            Though I think it is useful to distinguish how people _conceptualized_ evil, and how they _slandered_ other people. For example, Jews were commonly accused of host desecration, but not all tales featuring host desecration involved Jews.
