@UnlikelyLass The first option. Replace the "metal robot face/jaw/neck" with a living human head.
In my world, the IL series are a cyborg versus an android/robot.

If that was a professional pull what i'd have done is edit in a skin tuck around the edge of the dome to make it less "stuck on" and maybe done some scarring. That would take actual time though
