It’s amazing how much they just copy, copy, copy. Even just some effort to spice it up and add some unique ideas could help.
XDefiant had some decent bones. Not going to claim I loved it by any means, but I had a fun time playing it for a bit when it launched. Then it just did nothing to freshen up the experience so I fell off fast.
Though I’ve got my eye on Splitgate 2 now, I have a good feeling about that one!

You can try Splitgage 2 for yourself. It’s in an open beta right now. IMO it’s fantastic and feels like peak Halo 2/3 multiplayer + portals.
