Another week of hitting the gym every day.
Last week, I figured I’d ease off—take a few days to recover.
Bad idea. I ended up losing 3 lbs of muscle. I asked my trainer why, and apparently when you take a short break, your stupid lizard brain decides to burn muscle before fat.
So yeah, it sucks. I put in all this work, and the payoff is minimal. It eats up my time. It mostly hurts. And honestly, I don’t even look that good.
The only reason I keep going is because I want to lift more. That’s it.
