Playing Megaman 3 for the first time, a thought hit me:

Megaman isn’t for regular people.

It’s for people with nothing else to do but play Megaman.

Because the only way to beat it is through sheer repetition—playing it a million times, memorizing every crook and cranny, anticipating every trap before it happens.

Megaman ain’t cozy. It’s the anti-cozy. It’s the platforming equivalent of sleeping on a bed of nails.
