Whatever you may think about the laziness, cowardice and/or complicity of the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN and other legacy media, JOURNALISM is still vitally necessary and precious.

We need honest, courageous reporters on the ground to record the truth about what's going on in our world. We need to celebrate and defend the newsgatherers who are doing the work, and to repudiate those who try to stop them.
