@slop I once worked on a government think tank trying to solve the problem “the moms of guys with security clearance need to stop posting their kids location on Facebook”.

@slop Think tanks used to be legitimate and most of their researched papers ended up always having a left leaning bias because that is reality. The rich found they could create their own and get tax breaks for it buying legitimacy for bad idea tax free -
