Honestly, if any American wonders what the rest of us thinks of your country, it seems like a hell hole at the moment.
Back in my youth in Germany, the USA was heavily propagandized as "The Land of Freedom".
There are a number of reasons why this is no longer widely believed, but for me hearing directly from Black Americans via social media was definitely a major contributing factor.
(Not that Black people in #Germany don't also have all sorts of racist nonsense to deal with. And yes, I have first hand accounts of that, too.)
