Sometimes I'll throw a plot that's SO morally grey at my players that when its resolved they flat out refuse to talk to ANY NPCs for like a month

And it's almost always an accident on my end too lol. I didn't KNOW this monster was the last of its people when I wrote the plot hook, I swear!
