When my little sister was young she had nightmares, so I drew her a dragon to protect her in her sleep, that's why she asked for a dragon for the munchkin. Gotta design a cheeky little protector for my niece

The trick is designing a dragon that'll be non-threatening and fun to a two-year-old, but cool enough for a fast-growing kid at six. I figure I'm gonna have to do a second total redesign somewhere between 10-13 anyway when the munchkin inevitably hits the Edgy Teens, so I also have to leave myself room to evolve the critter into something *painfully* overdesigned
Seriously though, it's a surprisingly complex design challenge. It's fun
