Rock ‘N’ Roll Defense is a painfully average tower defense game. And it would be entirely forgettable if not for one thing.

It has a killer soundtrack full of punk, metal, emo, and garage rock tunes. And all the songs are from bands I’ve never heard before.

The developer has really good taste in music, and I would mind up playing for longer than I intended purely so I could listen to more tracks.

The premise is pretty silly, though. You defend a rock band from an invasion of pop fans by placing speakers in strategic locations that will cause them to explode.

So this isn’t so much a good game. It’s more like something to keep you busy while you listen to an exceptional soundtrack.
