@stux I can't help but think what this sort of thing looked like in the past, when it really was a meeting of a bunch of unelected kings, half of whom had inbred conditions and half of whom (not the other half, overlapping set) had syphilis.
Like... It's sobering to think that this modern arrangement is better than what came before, even if it's not good enough.

@stux to be fair, if less people had patience for it long ago, before a lot of it started, maybe thy could have clamped down on it and prevented so many horrible things. It’s giving the bad actors just an inch, just a whiff of credibility that allows them to gain the foothold.
