why do i suddenly care more about declouding?

well, if you haven't noticed, the world is incredibly fucked up right now

and i can't do much about any of it, but it seems like a good idea to keep my data as local as possible

i am probably going to adopt graphene for this reason as well, despite hating android with a passion

"but iCloud is E2EE!!!!"

anything that is E2EE but where i cannot reproduce the build is basically "trust me, bro" security

do i have anything to hide? as far as i know, not really

but given the highly dynamic nature of the world we live in right now, who the fuck knows for sure?

that is enough reason to be my own "data controller"

"I need privacy, not because my actions are questionable, but because your judgement and intentions are."
