    The Sun had a massive solar flare eruption from a region facing earth last night around 0400 UTC.

    A G4 (Severe) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for late 2 June.

    Detrimental effects on satellites and comm. systems are expected.

    Strong auroras, visible in Canada, Europe and the northern half of the U.S. are predicted.

    Stay tuned for more information. The NASA/NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center website is not fully updated yet.
