Finished reading the first Murderbot (All Systems Red) and then the first three eps of the show
I like the book a lot better tbh, I mean I know I always do, and it's not like the show is TERRIBLE or anything. But a lot of the action is about accessing data and hacking stuff and figuring out what data the enemy may have etc, which I personally think is more thrilling to read about than to just hear characters talk about (since how else are you supposed to convey this)

I did think it was smart to trim down the cast and show them interacting more (and having Murderbot shudder in horror when it would witness them lmao), and the show-within-the-show is pretty great
Not sure how I feel about Preservation being portrayed as a bunch of incompetent hippies tho lol, in the book they're a bit relaxed but not full on clown shoes suspenders like the show, sometimes it gets to be a bit much

@renkotsuban I didn't quite get "incompetent" from PreservationAux but I think the hippy side did get played up for more visual distinguishing from the Company
