The USA was incredibly stressful. Everywhere in San Diego, I felt a creeping sense of paranoia. They say San Diego is a “safe” city, but there’s a lot of caveats with that.
But you know that old lyric “They paved paradise and put up a parking lot”?
That’s California in a nutshell. It’s an incredibly beautiful place. Yet, utterly wrecked by freeways and strip malls.
