Question about #OpenStreetMap :
One of the cool features of Google Maps is that users can upload photos they have taken of various places, which are then displayed on the map and can be seen by other users - thus allowing them to get a better impression of what the area looks like.
What is _not_ cool is that the people who upload these photos sign over some of their rights to a megacorporation which seems to get more evil every year.
So I am wondering if there is an OpenStreetMap-based alternative. A site where you can bulk upload photos which include geographical information (which is pretty standard for pictures taken by smart phones), and release them under a #CreativeCommons license where they can be seen and used by other users.
I could have _sworn_ that I once saw something like that, but I am not sure. Can anyone help me out?
