I think if something I'm playing on a device smaller than a TV tells me it needs to compile shaders or, like, check my video drivers or VRAM or something, I should be allowed to blast it with a shotgun right then and there.
Like, that's untrustworthy behavior.

@CactuarJoe My Retroid Pocket does that sometimes, but that's because I'm asking an Android device to pretend it's a much bigger and more powerful system.
