Is PC gaming dying because an RTX 3090 is too expensive?

Watch a lot of talking heads on YouTube and TikTok, you'd think the sky is falling down.

But I have yet to see a single game that requires an RTX 5090. For most AAA titles, it's overkill. You're paying out the nose for gains you won't be able to experience until years down the road.

You're far better with an AMD Radeon RX 9070—which is massively less expensive. And is still far better than what most AAA titles require.
