If I ever get around on writing a book on love stories from German #folklore , I will find out if #romance authors _really_ get the big bucks.

I guess it depends. Straight romance has more readers than queer romance. Not sure about romance from German folklore. You might have found an interesting niche topic or a real market gap. -
