They're missing the point. The problem with badly trained Nazis is not that they're badly trainedโ€”it's that they're Nazis!

You don't train Nazis. You abolish them. ABOLISH ICE. NOW!

@rowansong @QasimRashid Get away with anything they want? Like the criminals running this country into the ground? And no one is "illegal." Undocumented immigrants work, pay taxes, are valued members of community even though they do not have access to benefits of citizenship. Many of them are in the process of doing things "the right way," but we need immigration reform. It should not take 10 plus years to move through the system. These guys are terrorizing communities and throwing anyone they can get their hands on into for profit detention centers. They're not making us safer, they're violent and should be stopped.

@yessie @QasimRashid Half the damn nation (Myyself not included) voted for this shit. Like I said, I don't agree with the tactics/what thhey;'re doing, and I do belive that migrant workers have a place. That the system needs an overhaul, but there needs to be some sort of rule in place to kkeep things from getting *tthis* out of hand.

@rowansong @QasimRashid No I mean the predators in power. They're not locking them up. They're going after innocent people and those with civil offenses. Crossing the border illegally is a civil offense, like a parking ticket. It does not warrant a violent response.

@rowansong lol just realized we were blowing up the mentions of the OP. You're right, they're not following the law. They don't think they have to follow the law. They're being encouraged to brutalize people and to film it, which says everything about their confidence. I look forward to the day when they have to pay for what they're doing.

                    @yessie @QasimRashid I agree that it doesn''t warrant a aviolent response.
It vis still a civill offense and misdemeaner. I will say that I''m redally damn scaredd of what the hell lICE is doing by picking up people whho are non-white. But I still think there needs to bee some training, and a lot of weeding outt.

@rowansong I think there should always be a path to citizenship. If they are working and paying taxes, we know who they are. They should be allowed to move through the system. The for profit prison system is a real problem. And yes, MAGA is pretty scary, and I'm saying that as someone with MAGA family members. They don't think J6 was a problem, which is horrifying!

@QasimRashid They aren't missing the point. They're just asking Trump to moderate his oppression. Wall Street might just own Schumer's soul. It definitely owns his ass.

@rowansong @yessie @QasimRashid Half the nation did not vote for that jackass. 75M allegedly voted for him. We have 175M registered voters and several million that haven't registered. It's not how many voted for him, it's how many didn't bother to vote at all that's the problem.

@QasimRashid If Schumer and Booker were running cover for the Nazis, how would their behavior appear different?

That is the question that needs to be asked of establishment โ€œoppositionโ€.

What are they actually *doing* that does not look like complicity?

Where is the โ€œgood troubleโ€ that was spoken about? In the name of John Lewis?

@QasimRashid If the Democrats are our only hope, then the whole country has a Schumer/Jeffries problem. At some point the Dems are going to have to accept that they cannot serve the billionaires and the American people at the same time.

@QasimRashid Remember that Democrats increased funding for ICE to record levels. There was never any possibility that any amount of that funding would not be used against the American people, that's all ICE does. Those Democrats knew this was coming when they signed those bills; of course they don't oppose it now.

Corporate Dems like Schumer & Booker are pushing "strongly worded statements" demanding ICE "needs more training."

They're missing the point. The problem with badly trained Nazis is not that they're badly trainedโ€”it's that they're Nazis!

You don't train Nazis. You abolish them. ABOLISH ICE. NOW!

@QasimRashid Who would want well trained Nazis. Remember the last time we had them in snazzy Hugo Boss suits. No thanks
