...I am now pondering that while I have started to study the Italian language, I haven't spent nearly enough time studying Italian cuisine.

@juergen_hubert Thankfully, Italian cuisine is yummy! Panettone is a traditional yeasted bread filled with candied fruit and raisins served around the holidays (like a fruitcake but waaay better), would recommend grabbing it if you can find it

there is always plenty of Italian food Well, I did get this book last year, but admittedly I haven't gotten far in reading it.
