The Sun had a massive solar flare eruption from a region facing earth last night around 0400 UTC.

A G4 (Severe) geomagnetic storm watch is in effect for late 2 June.

Detrimental effects on satellites and comm. systems are expected.

Strong auroras, visible in Canada, Europe and the northern half of the U.S. are predicted.

While we were not watching, SpaceX Starship test flight 8 put on another light show over the Caribbean, as Starship suffered another RUD and exploded into dazzling pieces.

Commercial airplanes are being diverted around the area, from Florida to the Bahamas, while residents duck for cover.
