@Pamela1960 Thank you! Yes people here in Mastodon do seem very friendly. On Lemmy people generally seem less friendly but I still enjoy using it

@Wolowich the jets are still a lotta fun don’t get me wrong. To be honest I just like the Oilers because they always make the post season. That makes me a bandwagoner, probably, but bandwagoners have the most fun

Heylo I’m new to Mastodon. I really like the idea of the fediverse as a way to assert our digital sovereignty , so I joined Mastodon thought I’d try it out.

I’ve lived in Winnipeg MB for a bit now, and while I don’t dislike the Jets I must admit that my heart is with the Oilers.

If anyone knows some good people to follow to get an indepth analysis of any given nerdy subject, then please let me know. Those people would be fun to follow.
