The lack of focus on the left which you rightly note is actually feature of a population far more engaged with the realities of the 21th century. The singlemindedness on the right demonstrates their blindness to anything but their mindless hate for the left.

Toxic Idealism. You are just taking an ugly word, toxic, and put it in front of a beautiful word, Idealism. There is no such thing.
