@mynameistillian Once upon a time there was a good cop. His name was Christopher Dorner. There quite probably have been others but you don't hear their names because they don't successfully fight back against their erasure when the system invariably expels them for not violating their principles, or, they adjust their principles and become bastard cops.

ACAB doesn't mean every single cop on an individual level is a morally bankrupt shithead. -

Microsoft has created an environment in which this is the norm now. We have to always be proactively blocking everything or training users not to use it, and our policy admin and training folks can't keep up. Our organization is just too small to have the resources to keep a lid on that shit. Our own SW vendors are our top threat model and an APT.

Idk who needs to hear this but empathy and compassion are not weaknesses, and denying them toward the vulnerable does not make you cool nor respectable to anyone that matters.Idk who needs to hear this but empathy and compassion are not weaknesses, and denying them toward the vulnerable does not make you cool nor respectable to anyone that matters. It makes you contemptible and a coward. True weakness is surrendering your humanity to pressure or fear of standing alone for what is right.
