I love that every time one of my posts about whiteness blows up, there is at least one fragile white person who says some shit like “I know enough to recognize when someone is chasing clout and not living from actual experience.”Meanwhile I have a whole writing career I don’t talk about because I got sick of the publicity. People still try to start fights with my deadname from Al Jazeera essays I wrote a decade ago. Like bitch clout is chasing ME.
@gkrnours @FinalGirl And not to mention that when there are conditional release from prison programs done here in the US that provide support and connections to people who will hire people with a record, we've actually seen those programs reduce recidivism better than letting people sit the full sentence.Almost like the "soft" programs actually work...
