@PhoenixSerenity it seems to be that it's easier to be LGBTQ+ on Mastodon than to be BIPOC on Mastodon.
It's easier to be a furry!
Now, I think LGBTQ+ folx SHOULD have easy spaces. So should furries! But there's no excuse some of the things I've seen here against BIPOC folx. And that's as a white woman. Even as a moderator on my instance, I don't see 1/4 of what BIPOC folx do. White folx need to be way more aggressive calling out racist shit. ESPECIALLY when it's uncomfortable or risky.
