Mike Johnson tried tonight to characterize the upcoming No Kings 2.0 day on 10/18 as a “Hate America” movement. Wrong. Utterly wrong. To reject dictators, authoritarians, and tyrants is to love America, to love the very idea at the heart of it.

There’s a lot of nonsense coming from big name Democrats and some liberal commentators tonight. Time for some debunking.

Political assassinations, like other murders, are morally repugnant. But they are not “what undoes democracy.” Dictators and authoritarians and those who laud and support them are what undoes democracies.
