The class divide can't hold the process back forever. As technology evolves even further, virtual reality becomes cheaper. Our need for meat in the process of wish-fullfilment decreases. Our most problematic degeneracy finds a home. A "safe space".

This, I believe, is active nihilism, of a spiritual kind.

Haven't heard of that particular essay, but that doesn't surprise me

I plan to read Land; I just haven't read enough of the stuff he draws inspiration from in order to make a lot of sense out of his writing.

I mostly have to rely on secondary sources for his ideas, which I don't really like doing. Like, I'd rather just read someone's work than read/watch someone else's interpretation of that work.

Nietzsche's Übermensch isn't a man who flees civilization to live in a cabin, but a trans girl who lives in her bedroom, in front of her computer. Or, more accurately, she lives in cyberspace. In this realm, she is a being of raw, unbridled creativity. Where she sees a software-related problem, she writes a solution. She fully exerts herself onto virtual space. She is an active process of creation, and affirmation.
