UPDATE: One of the company owners (whom I've known for many years and is a good person) has asked to speak with me in about fifteen minutes. -
Good lord, virtually no one in Michigan can drive.In 1995, one of my Clarion classmates had to drive from Lansing to Detroit to pick up his girl at the train station.
I told him to be careful, Detroit drivers are special. He sneered that he was from Boston, he'd be fine.
Upon his return, he was still pale and shaking. Looked at me with haunted eyes and said "What the hell is wrong with Detroit drivers?"
I doubled over laughing, because I'm a bad person.
